GORE. This Day. (Before Mr H. A. Stratford, S.M.) John Dwyer (for whom Mr Henderson appearid) pleaded guilty to having been on licenced picmises on December 24th during the currency of a prohibit! n older against him. Mr Hendcron explained that Dwyer went into the hotel on the date in question to collect a few shillings owing to him by a farmer, and nut for the purpose of obtaining drink. Defendant was fined 10s, without, costs ; in default three days' imprisonment CO. Thutstnn (Mr Henderson) v. J.L. Keown (Mr Inder).-Claim £35 17s. This pieviously heard case was reinstated on condition that the amount of judgment, with the costs, be pnid into Court on or before 11th January. That had not been done, and Mr Henderson applied for costs. Mr Inder objected, contending that the conditions of the reinstatement i.ot having been complied with the case must be struck out. The Magistrate upheld Mr Inder's objection and struck out the case. Whitcombe and Tombs (Mr Bowler) v. J. S. Neave. - Claim, £l2 18s lid on a judgment summons. Order made for payment forthwith ; in default thirteen days' imprisonment. T. Kelt (Mr Inder) v. H. Geddes.—Claim. £4 lis fid on a judgment summons. - Order made for payment forthwith ; in default live days' imprisonment. S.mie v. same. Claim, £3 17s I'd on a judgment summons.—Order made for payment forthwirb; in default fur days' imprisonment; older to be suspended for fourteen days. T. Spear (Mr N'ieho'j v. Win. Dickson. - Claim, £5 Is 8d on a judgment summons.— Order made for payment forthwith ; in default rive days" imprisonment. Tbc Court then rose.
