After another body marched by, the name inquiry was put ami the same reply made. Then eame the regimi lit of Grenadiers, between 6ft. and 7ft. tall. " What do you think of those ?" asked Bismarck. " Fine soldiers, but not tall enough," was the reply. " What does your excellency mean r" said Bismajck. "I mean that, by openiiicour dykes, we can let in the sea and Hood Holland Bft. deep," replied the Ambassador.
