THIS DAY. (Before Messrs J. Mac Gibbon and Ballintine, J's.P.) A prohibition order wns granted against a local resident for twelve months, to apply to the Mataura Licensing District. v J. Cox (Mr Nichol) v. J. Cammock.- — Claim £3 9s 2d. Judgment for £2 9s 2d, with £1 4s costs. C. J. Thnrston (Mr Henderson) v. Mrs J. Black.— Claim £2 14s ld. Judgment, 'with 10s costs. ' J. W. Kelly v. Voss Williams —Claim £1 3s. Judgment, with 5s costs. L. Coutts (Mr Poppelwell) v. R. and F. Wallis (Mr Bowler) claim £4 17s damages for alleged trespass of defendants' sheep on plaintiff's land. W. N. Woods, K. McLeod, G. Walsh , F. Murray, R. F. Wallis and the plaintiff pave evidence in support of the claim. From this evidence plaintiff was unable to»establish the fact that the sheep belonged to tbe defendant, and on Mr Poppelwell's application an adjournment to the 10th January was granted, the plaintiff paying £1 Is costs.
