DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKET.
Messrs Daloetv and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly auction sale on Monday, when the attendance of buyers was fair. Oats — During the past week the demand has remained steady, especially for bright feed sorts, but prices are unchanged. We quote : Prime milling, Is 6Jd to Is 7.1 ; good to best feed, Is 5d to Is Od ; medium, Is 4d to Is 4Jd (bngs extra). Wheat — The market is quiet, and little business is being done. Prime velvet and Tuscan have fair enquiry, and are worth from 2s Cd to 2s 7(1 ; medium quality is neglected at from 2s 3d to 2s 5d ; fowl feed, however, is in good demand at from 2s to 2d ld (bags iv). Potatoes — The market is almost bare of supplies, consequently prices have .advanced considerably. We quote; Prime northern Derwents, tq £4 ; other sorts, £3 10s (bags in) Chaff — Prime oaten sheaf has good inquiry, but medium quality is over supplied and hard to sell. We quote : Best oaten shoaf, £2 10s to £2 12s Gd ; medium do; £2 to £2 7s Gd.
