LICENSING DISTRICT OF MATAURA. ELECTION OF LICENSING COMMITTEE. NOTICE OF POLLING DAY. IN Pursuance of " The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893," and " The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act Amendment Act, 1895," I, JAMES BOYNE, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Mataura, do hereby give notice that an ELECTION will be held for the Return of FIVE QUALIFIED PERSONS to serve as Members of the Licensing Committee' for the said District, and that tho latest day for receiving Nominations of Candidates will be the 13th day of MARCH, 1900, and that the POLL (if necessary) will be taken at tbe several Polling Places of the said District on WEDNESDAY, the 21st day of MARCH, 1900. Every Person desirous of becoming a Candidate must be Nominated by not less than Two Electors of the District, by a Nomination Paper in the prescribed form, delivered lo the Returning Officer on or before the 13lh day of Marcb. 1900, not later than 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Each Nomination must be accompanied by a Deposit of Ten Pounds. The following are the Polling Places for tho Licensing District of^Mataura :— -Town Hall, Gore (principal) The Courthouse, Wyndham Currie s Hall, Waikawa The Schoolhouse, Niagara The Schoolhouse, Quarry Hills The Schoolhouse, Otara The Schoolhouse, Rimu Tbe Schoolhouse. Otcramika Gorge The Schoolhouse, Oteramike No. 1 The Schoolhouse, Tokonui Attwood's Hall, Fortrose Tbe Schoolhouse, Mokorela The Schoolhouse, Pine Bush The Schoolhouse, Glenbam The Schoolhouse, Seaward Downs The Schoolhouse, Mataura Island Tbe Schoolhouse, Edendale Oddfellows' Hall, Mataura The Schoolhouse, Redan The Schoolhouse, Mimihau The Schoolhouse, Ferndalo The Schoolhouse, Woodlands The Schoolhouse.
