Matheson (Mr Wilson) were granted. W. M. Bolt (Mr Inder), pplication for certificate of protection over a special claim. — Grautcd for six months. Harriet Mclvor (Mr Inder), application for duplicate of a lost document belonging to the late J. P. Hill. — Declined, the estate being in the hands of the Public Trustee. B. Jones (Mr Wilson), application for water-race.— Granted. R. T. Stewart (Mr Inder), application for certificate of protection.— Granted for two months. E. Thomson (Mi Nichol). application for a tunnel. — Granted. - Walter Mclvor (Mr Wilson), application for on ordinary claim. — Granted. Piano Fiat Co. (Mr Inder), application for extended claim of two acres. — Granted. Waugh Bung (Mr Wilson), application for a business site license. — Granted: S. G. Inder (Mr Inder), application for a special claim at Upper Waikaia.— Refused on legal grounds. W. Pearsey, application for special claim. — Recommended to Minister. R. T. Stewart (Mr Inder), application for speoial claim. — Recommended to Minister. W. G. Mackay (Mr Inder), application for water-race. — Granted. Thos. Goldie and others (Mr Wilson), application for lignite license. — Granted. W. G. Mackay (Mr Inder) v. Patrick Riordan and others. This was a suit for the cancellation of a water-race license at Wuikaia, held by defendants, and alleged to have been abandoned.— Defendants did not appear, and the license was declared cancelled. Thos, Taylor (Mr Inder) v. D. Matheson. This was a friendly suit asking that in lieu of forfeiture of a water-race license not being renewed, a fine should be inflicted.— Fined 3s, and tbe Mining Registrar ordered to renow tbelicense. . A number of applications were either ad ouxned or struck oat.
