MR FRASER AT WAIKAIA.

MrFraser, M.H.R. addressed a meeting at Waikaia on Thursday night ; which, despite the inclement weather was well attended, and fairly representative. Mr Anthony Robson occupied the chair. Mr Fraser spoke for upwards of two hours, delivering an able and instructive address; touching generally on all the points of interest bearing upon recent and present-day legislation and administration, which was listened to with rapt attention. At the close of the meeting the speaker was accorded an almost unanimous vote of thaDks, appreciation and confidence— thanks for the able and statesmanlike speech he hod jast delivered ; appreciation of the faithful manner in which he had represented his constituents in the past, and confidence in him as being the possessor of special ability .which would enable him, if elected, to represent the constituency in the future. A vote of thanks to the chair brought the meeting to a close. Mr Fraser speaks at Waikaka this evening. \
