Pat Cattle — 267 yarded, a small portion prime. Heifers were greatly neglected, while best bullocks were 10s per head lower. Prime bullocks, £7 15s to £8 12s 6d ; good, £6 to £7 10s ; others, £4 5s to £5 15b ; best cows and heifers, £4 to £5 10s ; others, £3 2s 6d to £3 17s sd. Fat Sheep— 2Bß7 penned, a large proportion, being prime medium weight. Buyers for export were present, but their limits were about 2d per lb. One pen of very heavy wethers brought 19s ; a little lighter, 16s 6d to 17s; average wethers, 15a to 16s 3d; lighter, 13s to 14s 9d ; prime crossbred ewes, 13s to 14s 9d; others, 12s to 12s 9d; hoggets, 9s 6d to 12b 6d. pjgg 146 penned. Baconers were a bit easier, but light porkers sold well at late rates. Extra heavy baconers, 50s to 60s; - ordinary, 36s to 475; porkers, 27s to 335; stores, 18s to 255; suckers, 11b to 16s 6d.
