Wednesday, 22nd July. The Fabmebs' Agency Co. report as folows : Fat Cattle : 128 head yarded, mostly fair to good. The entry being small, good competition was experienced, and if there was any quotable change it was in favor of sellers. Best bullocks brought £8 15b to £9 17s 6d (no extra heavy weights forward) ; medium to good, £6 5s to £8 7s Gd ; others, £5 to £6 2s 6d ; cows in proportion. Fat Sheep : 2540 penned, mostly ewes of good quality, and a few pens of very prime wethers ; some were very good, and realised up to 17s 9d, while ordinary prime crossbred wethers brought 14s 9d to 15s 6d ; medium, 12s 9d to 13s 6d ; others, lis 6d to 12s 6d ; very heavy ewes sold up lo 13s 9d ; medium to good, 10s to 12s 3d ; others, 8s 9d to 10s 3d. Pig 3: Only 43 forward. Suckers, 5s to 9s ; slips, 10s to 12a; stores, 13s to. 16s ; porkers, 188 Gd to 255 ; no baconers or heavy pigs. PRODUCE JIABKET. Wheat : The market is void of any animation, prime milling velvet being the only sort saleable except at a considerable reduction on late rates. Quotations for best velvet, 3s 9d to 3s lid ; medium to good, 3s 4d to 3s 7d : best red wheat and Tuscan, 3s od to 3s 7d ; medium, 3s 2d to 3s 4d ; inferior to medium, 2s 8d to 3s Id (ex store, sacks weighed in, terms). Oat's : Market firm, but transactions limited. Growers are holding best milling for Is lid to 2s ; prime short feed, Is 9Jd to Is lOd ; medium, Is 9d to Is 9_d ; iuferior, Is 5d to Is 8d (ex store, sacks extra, net. Grass Scads have very little enquiry. Best machine dressed ryegrass seed is held 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; extra prime, 3s 9d to 4s 3d. Cocksfoot : Best dressed, 4|d to 5d ; medium, 4d to 4Jd ; undressed, 3d to 3jd per lb (ex store, sacks extra, net). Potatoes : Market firm, best Derwents fetching £2 173 6d to £3 2s Cd ; medium and kidney, £2 5b to £2 15s per ton (ex store, sacks weighed in, net). Chaff : Buyers being fully supplied for the time being, tho demand is weak, best only fetching £2 10s to £2 15s ; medium, £2 to £2 7s 6d ; inferior, £1 5s to £1 15s (ex truck, sacks returned net). Sheepskins: These are in very fair demand, best green crossbred? fetching 3s 6(1 to 3s 9d ; extra heavy and picked, 4s to 4s 3d ; medium, 3s to 3s 6d ; best dry crossbreds, 4Jdto 5Jd ; medium, 3d to 4d ; best do merino, 3_d to Id ; medium, 2d to 3d per lb. Rabbitskins: Prices well maiutained for best, but those for inferior to medium are lower. Prime grey does are fetching 12|d to Is Id ; best bucks aud does, mixed, ild to llfd ; medium, 9d to lOJd ; autumn, Cd to S_i ; Summer, 3sd to s_d ; suckers and inferior, 2d to 3d ; t>est silver greys, Is 2d to Is 4d; medium and black, lOd to Is Id; inferior, 6d to 8d per lb. Hides : Prices unchanged. Best, 2d to 2_d ; extra heavy, 2jd to 3d ; light, l_d to ljd ; inferior Id to IJd per lb. Tallow aud Fat : Market quiet. Bosl rendered mutton, 16s to 17s 6d ; medium to good, 14s to 15s Gd ; inferior to medium, 10s Gd to 13s 6d ; best mutton caul fat, lis to 12s ; medium to good, 10s to 10s Gd ; inferioi to medium, 8s- 6d to 9s Gd per cwt (ex store).
