DUNEDIN HORSE MARKET.
Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :— . A fairly large entry of horses was reoeived for our sale on Saturday, but the demand was very Black and the most of the horses were pasaed in. We offered, on account of Mr Bowra, of Sydney, 12 active opring-cart or expreßß horsea, but aB there were apparently no buyerß for them present they were passed in. We quote :— Heavy draught horses (4yru to 6yrs), 1.14 fco L2O ; light and small, L 8 to Ll2 ; aged and inferior, L 4 to L 6 ; unbroken colts and fillies (2yrs to 3yrs), L 9 to Lls ; upstanding 1 active spring-van horaeß (unbroken), Ll3 10s to Ll7 ; useful light spring-cart horses L 9 to Ll2 ; upstanding hacks and harness horses (young), L 7 to LlO ; aged and inferior do, L 2 to L 5.
