There were present— Messrs Simmetß, Reid, Murdoch, J. Mackay, Stark, Whi'c, Cocmbs and Sheed, Tbc report and Dalance-, ■ ahect for the past year were read, at?d showed a surplus of over LB. They were uuanimously adopted. A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring committee, and the election was then proceeded with. Only four would consent to be nominated— namely, Mesais Stark, Sheed, Coombe and White, Interest in educational matters is at a very low ebb at Waikoikoi, the whole work boras: left to fhvee or four, yeir after yiar, aud some of those with l?rge families never, put in an appearance to give a helping hand. The fiist meetine; of the new ootntnittee is to be held this evening to elect a chairman and secretary.
