Wright, Stcphenson and Co. report »b follows :— A moderately large entry of horses was offered at our sale on Saturday, a fair number of which changed bands. The demand for draughts waß fairly active, more especially for good young sorts, which are in short supply. There were no really good harness horses offered, all that came under the hammer being only of medium or inferior description, and tor these sorts the demand wa& very quiet. We quote : First Class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts (young), LlB to L 22 ; medium draughts, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged draughts, L 6 to LlO ; good hacks and harness horsed, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium do, L 7 to L 9; light and inferior do, L 2 10a t j L 5.
