DUNEDIN HORSE MARKET.
Wright, Stcphenaon and Co. report as follows :— At our Bale on Baturday the entries were made op alnust entirely of light horses. Foi this class there is a better enquiry every week, and despite the rather indifferent selection from which buyers bad to chooße, a number changed hands at very good price?. Draught horßes were not well represented, but there are plenty boye;s for good and young soi ti suitable for town ot country work. We quote : Fiist-claaß draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts (young), LI 8 to L 22 ; medium draughts, »12 to LI 6 ; aged draught*, L 6 to L 1 0; good baoka and -harness horses, LI2 to LI 6 ; medium do, L 7 to L 9 ; light and inferior do, L 2 lOi to 15.
