The Chairman was authorised to have the riding maps posted up to date. The engineer was instructed to call tenders for the following works in the Hokonui riding :— Grading Mandcville road, three niilee ; works on SandHjone Eidge, Mandeville to Loncridge, J£iDg» ston's to Croydon, and Mabel district roads. The Council went into committee lo consider mstters in connection with the proposed toll-bar at Waibopai bridge. — On resuming it was stated that the result of the committee's deliberations would be announced at tbe next ordinary meeting of the Council.
