Warden's Court

— ~^~ — WAIKAIA. Tuesday, 6th June, 1893. (Before It. S. Hawkins, Esq., Warden.) The following applications were granted by the Warden :— Charles Macartbur, extended claim of one acre on the south side of the Muddy Terraces ; Jack Yonng Tong, tail race from extended claim on the spur dividing Welshman's and Moffitt's gullies ; same, tail race from extended claim on Carnie's hill to Winding creek ; Archibald Kennedy and party, water race from Boyer's old sawmill on the Winding Creek taking in all gullies on the south side of the creek, to extended claim od Murphy's hill ; same, water race from Winding creek below Peirse'e hut to Pig and Whistle flat, Ohm Four and Chong Kong, an extended claim of two acres on the spur in Welshman's gully opposite Mrs McKenzie's house. The application by Joseph Wallis and party for a dam on the Scrubby Terraces was adjourned until next Court day, the claim to be re-marked.
