Wright, Stephenson and Go, report as \ follows : — Eiveredale Sale- — For the usual monthly fixture at these yards there was aa entry of about 1200 sheep. Of this number the greater part consisted of crossbred lambs of rather medium quality, the balance being made up of a few pens of wethers and aged ewes. Lambs showed a considerably improved demand, and all changed hands from ' As 9 3 to ?s lOd Crossbred wethers were also in request and sold up to 13s 3d. Gore Sale. — Only a Email entry of Bheep came forward to" last Tuesday's sale, and owing no doubt to the very stormy morning the attendance was also limited. Notwithstanding this, however, a much better tone prevailed light through the sale, and no difficulty was experienced in effecting a clearance of all forward at an improvement on late values. Crossbred lambs sold from 69 to 7s Bd, culls to 4s 3d ; store wethers to 11s 6J, and freezing do, very heavy weights, to 16s 3d. Cattle : About 50 head yarded, medium quality, and nearly all sold at fair rates.
