SOUTHLAND COUNTY.

The Southland County Council propose to alter the boundaries and names of ridings as followß : — Toi Toi Riding: The Toi Toi Riding to be bounded on the east by Clutha County, on the south .by the ocean, on the west by the Mataura River, and on the north by the south boundary of Tuturau and Otaria Ho ad Districts. Mataura Riding : The Mataura Riding to include the Tuturau, Otaria, and Knapdale Road districta. . Hokonui Siding : The Hokonui Riding to I be bounded on the east by the Mataura River, containing unaltered the portion of the late Oreii Road district, and the wholo of the Mabel and Waimumu Subdivisions of the Lyndhurst Road District. Waihopai Biding : The Waihopai riding to contain the Oteramika Road District, Awarua Riding : The Awarualßiding to contain the Invercargill Road District, the Myroßs Subdivision of the Lyndhurst Road Distiiot, and the Waikiwi Subdivision of the late Mak&rewa Road District. Wallacetown • Hiding : The Wallacetown Riding to be unaltered except that, on the squtheast, the Mafca.re.wa River be the boundary. The Waikaia and Oreti ridings are to remain unalterod, and Winton riding is to comprise all the undeeoribed portion of the county.
