A Jubilee Home.

- (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, August 11. _ At a meeting of the Charitable Aid Board this afternoon, a deputation consisting of Mr Hulbert and Captain Garsia waited on the Board with reference to the Memorial House, and requested them to take over the money, about £6OO, which had beon collected by the Jubilee Committee, and aoply to the Government for a subsidy, and carry out tho building in accordance with the wishes of tho subscribers. The Board accepted the money with thanks, and decided to meet their wishes as early as possible.
