A Liveld Discussion.

(Per Press Association.)

Dunedin, July 6. A lively discussion took place at a meetof the Dunedin Presbytery with regard to the Rev A. C. Gillies, who recently resigned the charge of North Dunedin Church, and received a certificate, but has since conducted sendees in a hall in town. A motion was made that Mr Gillies be asked as to the nature and purpose. of these services, but most of the members were of opinion that it would be unwise to stir in the matter, as Mr Gillies would soon find it necessary to leave, and consideration was postponed till next meeting.
