Minimum weight, lOst, 71b. For horses owned and ridden by members, of the Wairau Hunt Club that hunted three times during hi3t season, but not necessarily by the owner. Amateur riders to be allowed 7H>s.; such riders to mean only those who have not ridden in any previous Hurdle Race. Horses that have won a stake of £3O, or upwards of public money, over hurdles, not to be allowed to start. Entrance, Ll. 2 Handicap Hurdle Rack, a Sweepstake of Ll for starters, with L 20 added.—Distance, two miles ; j ver eight flights of hurdles, 3ft 3in high. Nominations,|los ; acceptances, 10s. 3 Hack Hubdle'Race.—Distance, about 1J miles ; over six flights of hurdles 3ft 3in. high. No horse to carry less than lOst, nor any horse to be ■ ahowed to start that has ever won LlO of public money, or has started for the Handicap Hurdles. Entrance, 15s. Ist prize LlO. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will receivfe 50 per cerirof the stakes.
