Shaw and Lillywhite’s team, of cricketers commenced n match against a yeArri of the Cumberland Ciickot Club to-day. Rain fell during the early part of the day and interfered with the progress of the match. The visitors went in first but bad only sucseeded in compiling 67 tuds when the last wicket fell. Tho home team followed and when stumps wera drawn had lost nine wickets for 13 runs.
