THE NEW GOLDFIELD. Adelaide, Oct 20. Considerable excrement has arisen here over the discovery of void at Wankaringa, A large number of men have left for and are still proceeding to the field. Many miners also have been attracted from Wallaroo and Moonta. Hundreds of persons are leaving Adelaide for the Wankiranga gold fields. The Government geologist reports the gold is distributed generally over the field. Melbourne, Oct. 21. Several persons have left Melbourne for the Wankaringa gold fields.
