The attention of intending ten • derers is directed to the following clause of the terms and conditions of contract printed on the back of the tender forms : —“ The days and hours of arrival and departure to be fixed from rime to time as the Postmaster - General may direct. For services performed by coach no stage shall exceed twelve miles except by special permission from the Postmaster-General, who shall determine whether or not longer stages are unavoidable.” Contractors whose tenders may be accepted must be prepared to carry out the services for which they tender according to the time tables framed by the department. Forms of tender, with the terms and conditions of contract, may be procured at any post office. No tender will be considered unless made on the printed form. Tenders indorsed “ Tender for Mail Services No. ” to be addressed to the Postmaster-General, Wellington, and enclosed to the Chief Postmaster of the postal district to which the tender may specially refer.
