The Loyal Marlborough Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., meets this evening. G.N., Birch Hill, notifies to rabbiters that he wants to sell a good bitch. Mr T. Smale requires tenders for clearing, &c. Mr Hornby invites tenders for bushwork iu connection with his mill. Mr J, Muir, contractor, Maxwell Road, wants twelve good pick and shovel men for the Clarence River contract. Tenders will be receivod by the Awatere Road Board, until Tuesday, 31st July, for the construction of No. 10 and 11 contracts, from the end of Mr E. Maddock’s contract to the Grey River, being a distance of four miles or thereabouts. Mr Mitchell, architect, invites tenders for additions to a house and business premises. The Wairau and Awatere Road Boards give notice of their intention to levy a rate. The Marlborough Lodge of Unanimity meets to-morrow evening. Mr Griffiths will sell fruit and ornamental trees, shrubs, &c., on Saturday next. Two or three light weight boys, accustomed to ride, are wanted.
