PROSPECTUS OF THE MARLBOROUGH FREEZING COMPANY (Limited), Registered under the provisions of “ The Companies Act, 188*2.” CAPITAL, £5,000, in 2,000 Shares of £2 10s each, Payable as follows Is on application, Is 6d on allotment, and the balance by calls not exceeding 5s per Share, at intervals of not less than one month. Provisional Directors. [on. W. Clifford Mr C. Redwood Ir. J. Holmes Mr J. R. W. Cook Ir. W. B. Parker Mr J. Redwood Mr E. Paul Solicitors : Messrs Rogers and Barleyman. Loneon Agents: lew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited). Bankers: The Bank of New Zealand. THE Company is established with the object of doing all things necessary for promoting the sale and export of Stock and other Produce by means of the Freezing and other processes. A more detailed description of which appears in the Memorandum and Articles of Association which may be seen at the office of the Solicitors. The satisfactory returns received in the Colony for sheep placed upon the English market clearly prove the great advantages derivable from the Freezing process, and establish the desirability of an effort being made to enable the inhabitants of Marlborough to derive the full benefit from the export of Sheep and Cattle and other Produce from the District. Under present cireumstauces large shipments of sheep are being made to Wellington, the owners receiving a sum of money about equal to the value of the skin, wool, and offal, the return from the English market being the profit of the purchasers. It is proposed to register the Company as soon as a fair amount of the capital is subscribed, but before proceeding to any ; expenditure beyond the necessary expenses | of forming the Company a general meeting j of Shareholders will be convened and a ' general plan of proposed operations sub- | mitted to such meeting. Applications for Shares will be received at the Office of Messrs Rogers and Barney- j man, Bank of New Zealand, the New ; Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Com- j pany, Limited, or by any of the Provisional j Directors. The Share List will close on Friday, the Ist day of August, 1883,
