Silt.— Permit meagain, through the medium of your columns, to call the attention of those who are put in authority over us, or rather those we elect to occupy such elevated positions—T refer to the manufacture i s of the Borough Bye-Laws,—to the fact tout there is? t foot-bridge over the Omaha River, in the Beaver Road in a state calculated to produce disastrous results to those who have sufficient pluck to use it. Being aware of the intense interest manifested by the Ruling Powers m everything tending towards the public welfare I should have imagined the same precautions would have been taken with regard to foot as to other bridges.—l am, &c., Ratkdaykk,
