Water was struck at 45 feet to the extent that 400 gallons per hour \for five days were' pumped continuously with no diminution of flow. AN OLD-TIME CUSTOM A Walton bowler was so pleased with “ the recent arrival ” and was so popular with big friends that the customary process of u wetting the head” was not only protracted but covered almost everyone in the district as well as a few out of it.
