\ MEMBERS’ SUCCESS McLean’s Brilliant Form \ Members .of the Matamata Gun Club proved their ability again at outside Bboots last week-end at Kerepeehi, where the Hauraki Gun GUib held a meeting. McLean, the young Matamata shot, was in great form, shooting 60 birds out of a possible 61 throughout the meeting. In the Six'bird Eye-opener, W. McLean (13yds) and H. E. Davis (11yds), with others, shot the possible and divided the money. In the first £25 shoot, W. McLean (13yds) and J. Dobson (15yds) shot the possible with another competitor; and in the second £25 shoot, Doboson (16yds) and McLean (14yds) again shot the possible and divided the prize money with another. In a trophy shoot at. 12 birds, Dobson (16yds) shot the possible with two others and gained third prize in the shoot-off. In the final Gimcrack shoot, at 7 birds, .McLean (13-25yds) shot the possible with -three others and divided the money.
