MATAMATA CLUB RESULTS The first round of a 72-hole stroke championship played on Saturday resulted: L. H. Little 84, G. Irving 87, G. Fitzgerald 90, N. Johnston 90, J. Lee 91, J. Corbett 91, R. Mentiplay 92, C. S. Tapp 92, H. Conder 93, G. Campbell 93, H. Keeley 94, T. R. Bluck 95. The best scores in' the first round of the 72-hole medal handicap were: S. R. Sims, 99—28, 71; T. R. Bluck, 95—24, 71; G. Campbell, 93—21, 72; D. M’clsaac, 96 —22, 74.
