OBITUARY

MR. THOMAS M. MUNRO The death occurred suddenly at Waharoa on Tuesday evening of Mr. Thomas Murray Munro, a resident of Waharoa for the past 12 years, in his 74th year. Deceased had just finished his evening meal and was chatting to his son, Mr. Pat. Munro, the Matamata representative Rugby player, when he expired. The late Mr. Munro was a son of the Rev. David Munro, minister of the parish of Coldingham, Scotland, and was born in that town He came to New Zealand 4Q years ago, and about & year later married Miss Ethel Evelyn Kemp, at Palmerston North. His wiffe predeceased him about six years agoV Mr. Munro was of zL quiet disposition, and latterly he led a more or less retired life. He leaves a grownup family of four sons and three daughters.
