SCHOOL CRICKET Matamata v. Putaruru Girls’ teams from the above schools met at Bedford Park, Matamata, on Thursday. In an endeavour to even up the teams Matamata fielded their B team, but the visitors proved no match for the home eleven, who won by 49 runs with several wickets in hand. P.
