As the market has shown a strong upward tendency since the accounts were completed, it is probable. that the final returns for the season will show an .average return irrespective of grade |n excess of lad per pound of butierfat.

Suppliers have already received an interim bonus of id per pound on total butterfat, \yhich was paid out •tin June' 25, and a further bonus of 3d" per' pound on July 25, together with a share bonus of .$d per pound. The interest on paid-up capital is at the rate of 5 per cent. A further bonus will be payable when the final returns for the season are to hand.

The operating costs from factory stage to f.o.b. work out at the low figure of l.lld per pound of butter made, and the total costs from farm gate to f.o.b. are the lowest in the history of the company.
