STOCK ON ROADS

COMPLAINTS TO COUNCIL In a letter commenting upon the prevalence of stock on county roads received by the Matamata County Council on Monday, a ratepayer drew attention to the serious danger thus presented to motorists. A few months previously the writer had damaged his car to the extent of £2O through colliding with a bull. Some weeks later a farm hand had been sent to hospital with injuries in a collision with wandering stock at Arapuni.
