ON THE SCREEN
MATAMATA REGENT The sparkling comedy-drama, “No More Ladies,” featuring- Joan Crawford and Robert Montgomerie, with Charles Ruggles, Franchot Tone and Edna May Oliver, will have its final screening to-night (Monday). The smart and sophisticated drama, “The Lady Consents,” which comes to the Regent this Saturday and Monday is preponderately humorous, but is effectively touched with deeper dramatic moments. The featured players are Ann Harding and Herbert Marshall, who are supported by a brilliant cast, including Margaret Lindsay, Walter Abel and Ilka Chase.
