A graceful tribute to one who has been associated with the business and public life of Morrinsville for about 50 years was paid on Christ- J mas Eve when about 30 friends ofMr. F. J. Marshall assembled to wish him the compliments of the season. Mr. Marshall; who was the first Mayor of Morrinsville, was asked to accept a small framed and inscribed picture on which Were shown himself and the spreading Christmas plum tree which he planted in his J| yard nearly (jQ years ago and which M is now one of the landmarks of Morrinsville. v -
