FAUSETT—MORRICE
A wedding of iuterest to Walton and Matamuta residents was cele■»«tM at. John’s Methodist Church, Auckland, on Wednesday, iNovemoer J.4, v when the Rev. Lauronson officiated at the marriage of Alena second daughter of ivxr. Alexander Morrice, master mariner, and the late Mrs. Morrice, of Aberdeen,. Scotland, and Arthur F.aiie fausett, of Silverdale, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur hausett, of Puru, Thames, late of Walton. The: bride, who entered the church with Mr. Kennedy, wore a becoming 'french grey and blue ensemble and a blue hat, and carried a bouquet of roses and carnations. Her attendant was Miss Kathy Kennedy, who chose a frock of grey and cherry and hat to tone, and cairied sweetpeas and roses. Mr. Clive (“ Curly ”) Fausett was best man for his brother. Following the ceremony a recep-j tion was held at the Farmers’ Teh-, rooms, where Mrs. . Fausett. the. bridegroom’s mother, received the, guests. Her smart frock of navy corded silk was relieved with beige and she wore a hat to match. A posy of crimson roses was earned. Silk tartan ribbon was featured on all .the bouquets. ■> / ' , Following the reception Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Fausett left on their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a frock of chicory brown crepe elise with hat, coat, shoes,. handbag and gloves to match. Their future home will be at Silverdale. Among the guests were Mrs. L. J. Hunter, sister of the bridegroom, Mr Hunter (Avondale), Mr. and Mrs. C. Mapp, Mr. and Mrs. N. Johnston (Te Poi), Mr. and Mrs. A. Newland (Ngatea), Mr. and Mrs. J - p * Joy ”J (Ponsonby), Mr. and Mrs. G. Fausett Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy, Mr. and Turner, Misses Kennedy (2), Miss Turner and Messrs. Kennedy (3).
