Social and Dance
AT THE OKAUIA HALL. On Tuesday in the Okauia Hall a happy time was spent by a number of people at a dance and social evening. Good music was played, Mrs. T. Cotter, Mrs. G. Whittaker and Mr. R. K. Garland providingextras. Old time and modern dancing was enjoyed, while a Monte Carlo waltz won by Mr. and Mrs. Fenelon was very popular. Mr. Fenelon was an efficient M.C. Among those present were: — Mesdames A. R. Bruce, Burgundy red georgette and coatee to match; J. Tapper, powder blue satin and coatee; T. Cotter, emerald green georgette and lace; Fenelon, white satin beaute and figured bridge coat; A. Carter, apricot georgette and lace. Misses E. Garland, turquoise blue satin beaute; M. Barton, lemon soupple satin and velvet coatee to match; G. Jones, green floral georgette; E. Barton, green satin; O. Quinn, black georgette and velvet; G. Bark, black velvet; J. Brookes, biscuit lace over satin.
Also present were Misses 0. Burr, E. Burr and C. Jones.
