Party at Piarere

A happy party attended by about 50 guests was held at Mr. and Mrs. Sefton Banks’ home at Piarere on Saturday. Excellent music for dancing was played by Mrs. Nelson Banks, of Matamata, who also accompanied community singing. The dining-room and the verandah were cleared for dancing, while the drawing-room, where a cheery fire burned, was used as a lounge. The jolly evening concluded at a late hour. Among the guests were visitors from Matamata, Te Awamutu, Cambridge and Auckland.
