Gives 1259.66 Pounds of Fat.

Wagga Gladys of the Hawkeshury Agricultural College stud has regained the honour of champion Jersey butter tow of the world. On May 2 ■ she succeeded in breaking the world’s record for the Jersey breed registered by Mr P. J, Petersen’s Woodland's Felicie. *

The actual production of Wagga Gladys over the 12-month period was 22.847 ilbs of milk at an average of 5.5 p6P cent and equivalent to. 1259.GG1bs of butterfat. Woodlands Felicie’s record was 17,3321bs of milk and 1220.891bs of hutterfat.

During the course of this lactation period Wagga dladys also broke the world’s 273 days’ record for the breed with the splendid total of 17,2021bs of milk with 9351bs of butterfat. In addition, Wagga Gladys which is now 12 years 7 months old, being born on October 10, 1919, has established a highclass reputation as a prolific dam of superior offspring.

The milk and butterfat yields throughout the twelve periods of test were calculated on a test made every 30 days, the last being treated on a 35day basis as follows : . .
