Walton.

Garden Party. A garden party taking the form cf a kitchen afternoon in honour of Mrs. Fausett (nee Miss Edna McLean) was held at the residence of Mrs. W. E. Franklin (Walton) recently. Mrs. Franklin and Mrs. J. S. Dickey were joint hostesses and entertained about forty guests at tennis and various competitions. Before afternoon tea was served Mrs. Franklin wished the guest of honour all future happiness and asked her to open a generous pile of parcels. Mrs. Fausett suitably replied, and a happy afternoon was brought to a close by the singing of “ Auld Lang Eyne.”
