In addressing communications to the Record Office, correspondents would save inconvenience by addressing to the Editor, or Manager, and not in the name of an individual member of the staff, who may or may not be at the office when the letter comes to hand. Letters with official addresses are always opened (unless marked “confidential”! and in the other case a delay of days are dealt with immediately, whereas might occur.
