MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL. WATER RATES. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Matamata County Council, at a Meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, Tirau, on Friday, the Bth day of August, 1930, to make and levy under the provisions of Section 82 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of the Rating Act, 1925, the following Rates, in respect of the ordinary supply of water? on the annual value of rateable property within the Tirau Water Supply Special Rating Area:— On all lands and dwellings to which water is supplied : Where the annual value does not exceed £l2 10s, a rate of ten shillings; where such value exceeds £l2 10s, a rate of six per centum. On premises (other than dwellings) to which water is supplied, and on all lands and dwellings to which water can be but is not supplied, situate i within 100 yards from any part of' the waterworks, one half the rates above specified. Such Rates to be for the year ending 31st March, 1931, and to be payable to the Collector in one sum at the County Office, Tirau, on the 17th day of August, 1930.
