Kereone.

Tennis Club Dance. “One of the most successful dances held in the hall/ 5 was the general opinion of those who attended the Tennis Club’s dance in the Kereone Hall on Thursday evening. About 50 couples were present, including about 40 visitors from Morrinsville. The music provided by Holland’s orchestra from Matamata was greatly enjoyed. Mr. Roy Harris, assisted the orchestra by playing the drums. Mr. C. Hughes acted as M.C., assisted by Messrs. J. Harnett and W. Wells. Supper was served by the ladies of the club committee and other willing helpers. " Not only will the club funds benefit considerably, but the club has the satisfaction of knowing that its dance was a success from a social point of view, and there will be general satisfaction with the club’s decision to hold another dance next month.
