Not! ling else on earth provides io« much instruction and entertainment for a small sum per week as does thfl provincial newspaper published twice weekly. A picture show, a concert oi a dance costs anything from Is to 10s 6d as a rule and yet these things are not comparaDle with the newspaper for variety and wide appeal.
In view of the above statement, readers, when they buy from advertisers, would oblige by mentioning the fact that they saw the advertisement in tliis paper. Such an intimation costs nothing to make, but it gives such confidence to the businessman as to* the effectiveness, of advertising, and incidentally helps the publishers commercially, thereby enabling them to produce a bigger and better newspaper.
