CARE OF BRAKES.

It is necessary that brakes should be tested and adjusted by an expert at least twice a year. The four-wheel brakes now in common use are extremely powerful, but if the pressure through faulty adjustment does not apply equally to all wheels the chassis may be strained and the car may even be thrown out of its true course, causing a bad skid.
