STILL GOING.
'HURRY-UP MOTORIST^. Last week-end a motorist travelling along the Tirau- road failed to take a bend correctly, with the'result that his car ran off the road, crashed through a fence and then swerved round and out through the gate. Evidence of its erratic course was found next day, when the wind-screen of the car and a door were found lying about the paddock, the driver having not bothered to stop his auto to recover these useful parts of his car. Late on Sunday night another motorist crashed into another car which was feeling its way astradle the edge of the bitumen near the Okoroire school. This latter car received a ripped tyre and a damaged mudguard, which compelled a halt for repairs. As the first-mentioned car also kept on going what damage it received has not been ascertained, though a part left on the mudguard of the second car indicates that it did not get off without injury.
