CHILDREN’S PARTY.

LAURENCE TURTLE. Last week Laurence Turtle gave a party for a number of his friends. Games were played and a guessing competition was held, the prizes being won by Dorothy Steele and Joan Howe. Afterwards a photograph was taken of all the children present. On the tea table the birthday cake had the place of honour and was decorated with blue and gold candles. The colour scheme of the tables was blue and gold and looked very pretty with blue and yellow flowers and ribbons to match. A very happy time was spent by all. The names of the young guests were : Masters Jack Barugh, Ronald and Peter Bell, Denys Halligan, Bobby Hindle, Jack Howe, Norman Reid, Billy Steele, Cedric Wrigley, Misses Pauline Alquist, Dorothy and Margaret Barugh, Tui Flower, Joan Howe, Dorothy Steele, Gwen Wrigley. Owing to a slight indisposition Phil Stubbing was unable to join them.
