ANGLICAN SUNDAY SCHOOL.
ANNUAL PICNIC. On Saturday the Anglican Sunday School ’ pupils, their parents and friends were conveyed to “The Towers ” for the annual picnic. The weather and the situation were ideal and the merry crowd heartily enjoyed the day’s outing. After a refreshing luncheon, which was prepared in the orchard, races and games were organised and' heaps of fun ensued. Not the least popular item of the day was the advent of the “ lolly man and lady,” who were well sought after..,,’ . ;
Just before after”"'m tea Rev. C. Turner proposed a vote of thanks to Mr. jpd Mrs. H. Brisco for the use cf their property, and the children showed their gratitude in three hearty cheers. The prizes for the' various events -were then presented by Mrs. Turner. \ At about 6 p.m. the buses arrived to take the merrymakers home, each child taking some memento, in the form of a toy, of a very happy day.
