At 2-30 p.m. ’t reached Mr Morris’ house, having covered the 16 i miles in hours. Mrs Morris, who rode on the engine to Henley, said: “We set < ff to Henley. On the engine were 23 people. We passed over fields and ditches. We caught the 4-20 p.m. train at Henley, six miles awav. Our arrival caused a sensation at Henley.”
