MORRINSVILLE CATHOLICS.

NEW PARISH CREATED. To Have Resident Priest. The Morrinsville Catholic Church, which was formerly a portion of the parish of Te Aroha, and was served previously from that town, has recently been constituted a separate parish by the Bishop of the Diocese, Bishop Cleary. The details of the boundaries of the new parish are not yet known. Morrinsville will have a resident priest, Father Shaw, previously of St. Benedict’s Church, Auckland. Father Shaw will preach his first sermon in Morrinsville on Sunday.
